I hold a PCI soundcard and i want to use it for my laptop, is there a passageway to externally connect a PCI card to a laptop, if not what other option are there?

they sell adapters for you to be capable of use a pci card in a pcmcia slot.
I in recent times looked at their prices, not very practical.
