I keep hold of buying mics for my computer & I plug them in & poof they don't work. What am I doing wrong?I bet the first one I bought works but I'm not doing something right.Either that or I'm the most unluckiest mic buyer contained by the world..
I've bought 2 mics contained by days gone by 2 weeks?
you have to program it for your computer
you dance to your control panel
and go to tag on hardware
after that configure your microphone for your speech
you can get that within the control panel as well
the directory should be called speech also try sounds audio and devices
enjoy you tried adjusting the onboard mixer?
To get hold of microphone to play through your PC speakers via your soundcard, open up your PC volume control (usually a speaker deity on bottom right of your taskbar - Windows) If this only shows a single volume control, try double-clicking the god to get a 'mixer' panel, or (Windows) START, All programs, paraphernalia, entertainment, volume control.
Adjust the settings until you can establish which 'channel' is being used for your microphone- it will probably be imperfect 'microphone'!!
Do Start,
Run, then type,
sndvol32
Is the Mic un-muted contained by Windows Volume Control.
If Microphone is not displayed in V.C., consequently click Options, then Properties, check engrave the Mic box to get it displayed.
