Is the XFX nVidia GeForce 7600GT PCIe card a great one for the midrange bazaar. It has a core of 590MHz and memory of 1600MHz this is an overclocked one by XFX it seem to be the fastest in the mid-range graphics card. I currently enjoy the Nvidia GeForce 5200 which is AGP and I have ordered the XFX graphics card.
Is this graphics card a suitable one?
The 7600GT will be an titanic improvement over the FX5200.
I found that going from the FX5950 to the 6800GT be a big step. Yours will be even better!

Top card. Get the most out of it you need lots of memory on card and on laptop.
you may not be able to use your modern PCI-E card as you stated you have an AGP card surrounded by your computer right now, and they are NOT interchangeable. you will entail to get an AGP card, or a up to date motherboard with the PCI-E graphics slot.
I would budge for an ATI X1950pro they are really cheap now because DX10 is on it's opening. SO get a barter for an extra few punds
