Is within such a entry as a blown motherboard power regulator?

I bought a PC from ebay and the DVI and VGA outputs would not work. So I sent it put money on and he said that it was the mother board power regulator that have blown therefore it would not consent to me conect it to any display, doe sthis sound feasable

Yes that could be the baggage. If a computer gets a power spike after it can blow a capacitor. This could be the cause. Extreme boil will also cause this.



This can be effect by a crappy power supply being over used too.
ya, u any plugged it int a UK outlet, or u had a thunder storm w/ lightening and it shorted out ur comp.... any method u screwed.
