I agree next to Walter. Being USB it should be plug & play, but it's essential to have the right driver or your computer can't recognise it, so you obtain no sound. Check the info that come with the turntable. Was near a disc with it? If so, gross sure you ran the full installation program and later do a restart of your comp. Sometimes the stuff won't run until you've restarted.

Your mobo have 2 184 pin-slots(DDR) and 2 240 pin-slots(DDR2). If you are only using 1 stick of memory and are going to donate to it, use the exact same thing to be exact in at hand. Vista is nil more than a mere add-on, and Microsoft is in recent times making us shell out our money on something that we don't really need. First of, their over-hyped unusual and improved financial guarantee is abysmal (I am saying this after conducting tests it myself on my friend's vista based laptop). Their untried graphic coordination is also not as great as they claim it to be, as some widgets that I created myself are better looking and more functional that Microsoft's. To some it all up, Vista could own easily be just an upgrade offered by Microsoft as a download, given the embarrassing quality of its features, but alas product differentiation and consumer loyalty, have allowed Microsoft to sell Vista for ridiculously glorious prices.
Best to wait until Vista have been around for longer and all/any bugs enjoy been rectify.
Also, if you're happy near the OS you're using at the moment, then....if it ain't broke, why fix it ??

It has a core of 590MHz and memory of 1600MHz this is an overclocked one by XFX it seem to be the fastest in the mid-range graphics card. I currently enjoy the Nvidia GeForce 5200 which is AGP and I have ordered the XFX graphics card.

It could, although I don't think FSB speed is coupled to the PCI bus speed. I believe the PCI bus other runs at 100mhz. When you overclocked, it may cause the messages sent along PCI to gain dropped and ignored on cycles where on earth the FSB and PCI don't match.
For example, a 400mhz FSB will allow the PCI bus through once every 4 cycles, overclocking to read aloud 533 may cause it to miss some cycles.
I don't recomend overclocking, buy yourself a nice processor next to lots of cache memory (like a P4).

It's a suitable card, there are closely better choices today.
But if you need HDCP , consequently this is a great card, a lot better than the ATI HDCP offering.
The Geforce 7600GT is a well brought-up GPU. The only difference between Asus and other companies that use this GPU contained by their cards (such as BFG, Evga, etc) is the memory and core speed. For example, Evga's 7600GT has a core speed of 580MHz, while Asus' core speed for their 7600GT is 560MHz. Evga's memory speed is 1500MHz, and Asus' is 1400MHz. This is single a minor difference and will not affect gaming TOO much. You could always overclock it to duplicate speed and it will do pretty well duplicate thing. You might want to compare prices for respectively though, because if they are around the same you may want to dance with Evga's card.
Overall it is a righteous video card - directx 9 compatible, Windows Vista ready, and HDTV geared up. Hope this helps you out.

In one other answer no not without a converter from fire lead to svideo, unless you buy a video capture card. I own 5 Capture cards and all are ATI, If you want more information on this VIsit the ATI network site and they have some answers for you and some hardware that might do the trick.

I am trying to fix this Dell, the guy ripped the VGA cord out the stern destroying the onboard port. there is no AGP, one and only PCI available so I put a few different PCI video cards in. no apposite, I have to disable the onboard video through the bios (which i can not see beceause in attendance is no video) and there are no video related pullover settings on this mobo. is there such a entity as a VGA video cable, even one that provides terrible aspect and black and white, that i can plug inro the USB? It must work WITHOUT installing any drivers. thanks for your imput.
PS. I already tried removing the freestyle, resetting the CMOS jumper and kicking it.

Unfortunately, they do not manufacture a USB video adapter. As well, simply lately plugging in a card short disabling the onboard will not work either. I am afraid that you will enjoy to find a replacement motherboard. If I were surrounded by your shoes, as I have be many times, I would desire a replacement board on eBay. Just make sure that who ever is selling it have atleast a 7 day DOA term to give you time to theory test it. You should be able to pick one up for $50 or smaller quantity. Hope this helps
The most probable basis you're not seeing ANY video is that when your friend "ripped out" the VGA cord he also shorted out the video circuitry of the motherboard, thus rendering the motherboard useless.
UNLESS, you may be able to check for any wires or circuitboard traces that may be moved out shorting out the motherboard and cutting\removing them so that they no longer interfere with the video circuit pathway.

Okay there are some checking of items you can do. 1st, right click on MY COMPUTER and select PROPERTIES which will nouns the System Properties box. From here Click Hardware (tab) and click Device Manager. (Windows 9x users, click DEVICE MANAGER (tab)).
Look thru the list of devices and see if nearby are any modems installed. And if their is or is not an ! or X over the modem. If there is a modem and in attendance is not an ! or X then the modem is installed properly and the problem is most plausible the fualt of the ISP software. But before we can budge pointing fingers, let's see if we can make our modem agree, shall we?

If you've get downloaded movies files that don't play, you probably just inevitability to find the correct video codecs to play them. But that's just software you can download, no supplementary hardware is required.
There's a free program called Gspot that let you know what codecs are needed to play any movie file, and whether or not your system already have them installed.

If the Flash drive doesn't endorse files being present, consequently you can't possibly get them, unless you know how to do a untreated data dump from one and can reassemble worn out files by looking at the code. I get a Sabrent TV Tuner for my birthday (http://www.sabrent.com/products/specs/tv... which says that it is compatible near USB 1.1 and 2.0. I installed it per directions on my families laptop (running Windows XP Home) which lone has USB 1.1 and it didn't work. So, a couple of days after that I tried it on my brother's laptop (running Windows XP Media Center) which has USB 2.0 and it worked without a flaw. This was a problem as my brother doesn't live at home anymore. I hold a older computer (running Windows 98) that have a USB 2.0 PCI card installed. But the TV Tuner only have drivers for Windows XP and 2000.

yeah, use a USB housing for ur internal HDD. but I do not recommend it, as it will sabotage or severely reduce the duration of your HDD. lots of practical problems involved. but there is an adapter which will convert IDE-> USB/SATA best entry is to use it.

There may be a better agency to do it but you can do it by following these steps (only works with .xpi add-ons, not .jar).
1) Right-click the Install Now button on the firefox extra page and select Save Link As and save it somewhere you can find it.
2) Copy that database to the computers you want to install it.
3) On that computer open that database with Firefox, ie. click the directory menu and select Open File.
