Is at hand a means of access that an external tricky drive can essentially deed as an internal one, holding programs and files?

I'd close to my large external complicated drive to hold programs like itunes for example. I'd also similar to my computer to be able to access them, freshly like the internal drive. You probably can't sliver the internal one altogether, as most motherboards won't boot off a USB device, but if the external drive is other connected you can probably install most programs there that aren't needed rash in the boot sequence. You don't want your antivirus program in that, for example, but iTunes should be fine.
