Older mobos can support up to 2 GB, but any newer mobo has 4 GB or 8 GB support. Server stratum mobos support much higher level of course: 16-32-64, etc

depends on your motherboard and OS
dependant to your motherboard it is usually 2gb on older mothboards. If your mobo have 2 slots for ram afterwards it is probally 2gb and if your mobo has 4 slots for knock against then it is probally 4gb
